WazirX has completed its first major milestone in restructuring by issuing recovery tokens to users following its October 2025 relaunch. The exchange distributed 85% of approved claims within 10 business days of reopening, valuing assets at pre-hack reference prices. This initial payout mitigates losses while deferring remaining claims to future asset recovery processes.

The platform resumed trading with zero-fee incentives and phased reintroduction of INR pairs, prioritizing USDT liquidity. Court-mandated restructuring required these steps before pursuing further recovery mechanisms tied to platform profitability.
